VOC monogram, tower privy mark, date below (¢1728¢) / LUCOR ET EMERGO around the crowned arms of Zeeland. 22mm, 2.83 grams. Krause 150.

Mint erro with clashed dies  - the evidence for the clashed dies is seen on obverse (the cemi-circular line on obverse was made by the clashed dies).

The early Zeeland type with the inscriptions on the reverse was issued only for 4 years, from 1726 to 1729. Issued inthe Netherlands for circulation in the Dutch East Indies (modern Indonesia).
