An-Nasir li-Din Allah Ahmad ibn Yahya was a Zaydi imam in Yemen who ruled from 913 to 934 CE (301–322 AH). A descendant of the founder of the Yemeni Zaydi imamate, al-Hadi ila'l-Haqq Yahya, he governed during a period of political instability marked by rival dynasties and tribal conflicts. Although his authority was strongest in the northern Yemeni highlands, he worked to maintain and expand Zaydi influence, preserving the imamate through a challenging period of its early history. He is remembered as one of the significant early Zaydi rulers who helped establish the institution's long-term survival in Yemen.

The Zaydi Imamate was a Shi'a Muslim state founded in northern Yemen in 897 CE by al-Hadi ila'l-Haqq Yahya. Ruled by Zaydi imams who combined religious and political authority, the imamate endured - sometimes with interruptions and varying territorial control - for over a thousand years. The Zaydi rulers played a central role in Yemen's political and religious life until the imamate was overthrown in the 1962 revolution, which led to the establishment of the modern Yemeni republic.
