Stylized horseman right / Brahmi inscriptions in 3 lines with dividing lines: Maharaja / Sri Triloka / Chandra Deva. 14mm, 3.49 grams. "The Catalogue of Katoch rulers of Kangra"#17 or similar; Tye 68 var. (letters separate - unlisted with this form of inscription).

Tye does not distinguish between Triloka I and Triloka II, but when one looks at the depiction of the horse which started "hollow" (just drawn in lines) and slowly filled up, it becomes obvious that there had to be two rulers with that name, the first issuing coins with a "hollow" horse, the second with the "filled" horse. 

Kangra is a district is in the western part of Himachal Pradesh, in the low foothills of the Himalayas. It was the place of an ancient Hindu Kangra Kingdom. The kings of Kangra are almost unknown in history, their existence was shadowy and the dating of their reigns is tentative.Their coins are fairly scarce, not well-studied and difficult to find.
