Based on the design of the Sassanian Emperor Peroz (457-484), third crown type (struck ca. 474-483 AD), temp. Toramana (484-515 CE), Hepthalites in Afghanistan/Pakistan.

Sasanian style bust to right wearing crown with two wings, no inscriptions / Fire altar with ribbons flanked by two attendants, star and crescent flanking flames, no inscriptions. 26mm, 3.16 grams. Uncertain mint in Bactria or Gandhara (?). Göbl III/1.

This is a very early Hephthalite imitation of Peroz drachms. The White Huns (Hepthalites) were familiar with Peroz's silver coinage, since he was ransomed twice from captivity (the second time the ransom was supposed to be thirty mules loaded with silver drachms). Soon after, Hepthalites started minting their own coins, imitating the coins of Peroz they were familiar with. These particular coins are poorly understood, but they were probably minted in Pakistan, probably following the Hunnic invasion of India which started in the 470s and continued until much of the modern Pakistan and other parts of northern India came under Hunnic rule. Interestingly, these coins were imitated later, giving rise to the Indo-Sassanian coins of Gurjuras (people who were probably a part of the Hunnic confederation).
