Lot of 3 authentic nicer copper drachms of various types, showing a standing King on obverse and various Kushan deities on the reverse. Very decent condition for these coins, without duplication (the deities on the reverse should be all different). Interesting research group. Each coin is around 17mm and 4 grams. The price is for the entire group of 3 coins shown on the picture, not per coin.
Kushan drachms were a scarcer denomination, less common that the tetradrachms.
The Kushan Empire was a syncretic empire, formed by the Yuezhi, in the Bactrian territories in the early 1st century. It spread to encompass much of modern-day territory of Afghanistan, Pakistan and northern India. The Empire went into decline in the 3rd century, but fragments of it lasted until the rise of the Guptas in the late 4th century,
