Unusual Dark Ages coin from an old collection. The obverse seems to have traces of a chi-rho, the reverse shows a cross. This copper type is known from the Frankish King Childebert I (511-558) (see Belfort, A. General description of Merovingian coins #5459), though this type is larger (13mm, 1 gram+).
