Rare ceremonial Ban Liang cash, Qin Kingdom, ca.4th-3rd century BC

Very rare, clear characters and high quality for these.

Various clay coins are found in Western Han period sited in Xi’an in Shaanxi. Sometimes they can be attributed to a particular period, when they were made using the circulating Ban Liangs as “mother cash”.
