Four punchmarked symbols symbols (yoni (female sexual organs), elephant left, two bulls pulling a plow and a quadruple taurine symbol with dots) / Blank. 16x13mm, 1.28 grams. Rajgor's "Punchmarked coins of the early historic India" series 2 (wrongly listed as 1/4 karshapana) 

Unpublished type, closely related to Rajgor's series 1 and 2 of Andhra. The weight corresponds to 6 mashakas or 1/4 vimshatika, too heavy for a 1/4 karshapana weight (of around 0.85 grams).

Extremely rare.

Ancient country of Andhra was located between the Godavari and the Krishna rivers. The capital city was Dhanakataka, modern Bezwada. They issued silver karshapanas and fractions, all extremely rare and poorly studied.
