Monogrammed retrograde RŠŠ (𐩧𐩦𐩦) in South Arabian (the drawing is shown below) // Retrograde wtr (𐩥𐩩𐩧) in South Arabian below a curved line. 10mm, 0.22 grams. Cf. Zeno 321329 (this coin); unpublished anywhere else.

This is the only known example of this type - a crude coin, but is struck in high quality silver (not debased) and in proper weight for this type. High grade example, well-struck. The RŠŠ type with the retrograde monogram and with retrograde WTR on the reverse is not published or otherwise known, this coin is the first example to appear on Zeno. Extremely rare.

This type is variously attributed to Karib'īl Watār Yuhan'im or 'Amdān Bayān Yahaqbiḍ, based on the monograms found on their epigraphic coins. This rare type is very unusual, and is very different from the normal common Himyarite coinage. It is probably a provincial issue, or coinage struck at a lesser mint, or an earlier, pre-Himyarite issue - the monogram ḥḍr (𐩢 𐩳 𐩧) (found on some of these small fractions) is known on the coins clearly pre-Himyar, of uncertain origin as well on Himyari types with honorific titles wtr and mostly ‘mdn byn.
