It is probably a contemporary Gothic or Vandalic imitation of an official coin of Athalaric. The coin also lacks the middle bar (for \"H\"), it could conceivably belong to the Alaric II (484-507).\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAthalaric  was the king of the Ostrogoths in Italy between 526 and 534.
