He was among the earliest Indo-Greek rulers to establish a substantial kingdom south of the Hindu Kush and issued an extensive bilingual coinage with Greek and Kharoṣṭhī legends. His distinctive square bronze coins commonly depict an elephant and humped bull, while his silver drachms feature an elephant and a standing zebu bull. His reign represents an important stage in the expansion of Indo-Greek political and monetary influence into the Indian subcontinent.\u003c\/p\u003e","brand":"NumisMall","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":51646805573947,"sku":"x3373-71714","price":63.0,"currency_code":"USD","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0447\/1750\/6710\/files\/w71714.jpg?v=1788389054","url":"https:\/\/www.numismall.com\/products\/bronze-1-2-unit-apollodotos-i-c-180-160-bc-indo-greek-kingdom","provider":"NumisMall","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
