Very rare silver punchmarked 1/2 karshapana from Ashmaka Janapada, ca.500-350 BC, Ancient India

Four punchmarks - an elephant, two geometric symbols and and interesting large symbol consisting of three tourine symbols, curcles and a border of dot / Blank. 17mm, 1.36 grams. Rajgor - (similar to series 22 and 26)

Ashmaka Janapada was a Kingdom in Northern Maharashtra. It was conquered by Magadha around 350 BC. The rulers of Ashmaka issued coins in Maharashtran style, all of which are rare.
