Very rare! SUPERB silver drachm, Kidarites, late 300's AD (?), inspired by Shapur III (383-388 AD), Kabul mint (?)
Bust of Shapur facing right, wearing an elaborate crown, blundered Pahlavi legend MALKA VARARAN / Altar and two attendants. 31mm, 3.94 grams. Kabul mint(?). Gbl Hunnen Em. 29 (Iranian Huns Intermediate Group), Mitchiner ACW 1318-1320 (as Varhran III Kushanshah).

These beautiful, but very obscure, coins are variousely attributed wither to Kidarites (as imitations of Varahran IV) or to Kashano-Sassanians as issued by Varahran III Kushanshah.
