Kalima, date (785 AH = 1383 AD) and mint in the margins ("zarb Samarqand") / Arabic "suyūrghatmish yarlighī[din] amīr tīmūr güragān üge-mänu" ("[By] the order of Suyurghatmish - my, Amir Timur Guragan's, word". 16mm, 1.54 grams. Komaroff pl. 37, 1; SNA Tübingen 1020–2; SICA 9, 834–7; Album 2375. 

A very nice example of a coin of one of the cruelest and infamous rulers of all times!
