Arabic legends on both sides, frozen date 978 AH (1570 AD), all within a double border. 13.5mm, 2.5 grams. KM 20.

This coin imitates the coins of Gujarat before it was annexed to the Mughal Empire by Akbar the Great. This is the earliest type, it is quite scarce.
