Five punch-mark symbols / Blank, or one or two small bankers'' marks. Round or irregular flat silver planchet, measuring 12 to 19mm in diameter. Mix of Mauryan and Magadhan types. Different types, each weighing about 2 to 3 grams (the total weight of the group is about 50 grams). The price is for all 20 coins shown above.

The Mauryan Empire was the first great unified empire of India. It lasted from 321 to 185 BCE, and was ruled by the Mauryan dynasty. At its height it ruled virtually all of northern and central India and parts of Afghanistan and Pakistan. .
