Four punchmarked symbols symbols (shown above) / Blank. 16mmx13mm, 1.73 grams. Rajgor's "Punchmarked coins of the early historic India" series 1 (closely related to number 18), but an unpublished type.

Extremely rare!!! Ancient country of Andhra was located between the Godavari and the Krishna rivers. The captial city was Dhanakataka, modern Bezwada. They issued silver karshapanas and fractions, all extremely rare and poorly studied.
