Barbarous AE3 imitation of a Constantine the Great, GLORIA EXERCITVS (ca.330-337 AD), Egyptian imitation

Barbarous AE3 imitation of a Constantine the Great, GLORIA EXERCITVS (ca.330-337 AD), Egyptian imitation
Crude inscription, bust right / Two soldiers standing, with one standard between them, SMALD in exergue. 16mm, 2.0 grams. Nicer than the scan.
In the 4th century the Egyptian economy was troubled by high inflation, and a lot of imitative coinage was produced locally. Most of the coins were cast, but some examples, like this one, were struck. The worksmanship is fairly good, but the very crude inscriptions give this coin away as an unofficial imitation.
